Abstract
This article will propose different ways of how the reelection of Donald T rump can influence the space governance framework. By looking at his previous decisions and statements, we can make assumptions of what the President is trying to achieve. Initiatives, such as the Artemis Accord and the U.S. Space Force, clearly show national and commercial interests. The paper explores tensions between the new U.S. approach and the traditional Outer Space T reaty and highlights international criticism and growing threat of militarisation. In addition, the paper takes a look at the reactions of two major space powers, Russia and China. They strongly oppose the U.S. trajectory and argue that Trump’s actions bypass multilateral institutions. The article bases its theories on previous policies made by Donald T rump, and his close connections with tech and space private players, such as Elon Musk.
