Abstract
The rapid advancement of technological innovation has outpaced in many ways the development of corresponding legal and
regulatory frameworks, often leaving critical gaps in global governance. The most pressing example is the satellite communications
industry, where commercial satellites have become increasingly central to global data transmission. Despite their growing importance,
there remains no comprehensive international regulatory framework governing their operations, cybersecurity and data protection.
This article examines the legal vacuum surrounding commercial satellite infrastructure and advocates for the establishment of a unified
international regulatory regime supervising the use of commercial satellites.
Keywords: Legal Technology, Space Law, Data Protection, International Cooperation, Satellite Cybersecurity.
